And a rainbow comes out over Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre during the Australian Short Course Championships. There will be more rainbows than you can poke a stick at during the Melbourne2020 IGLA Championships. #melbourne2020 #msac #gayswimming #gaydiving #gaywaterpolo #proud2playinc

2018 TNYA SWIM CAMP

Some swimmers come to TNYA Swim Camp to prepare for meets later in the year, others come to get in “summer shape” and have a good time. Either way, Swim Camp is a great opportunity to meet new friends, enjoy the Florida sun, and most importantly to improve your swimming!

The Pool
Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex (aka Hall of Fame Pool) has both short course and long course lanes.

The Hotel
Granada Inn/La Casa Del Mar is giving us 15% off if you mention “Team New York Aquatics Swim Team”, there are many other hotel and VRBO options.

How to Register
Camp costs $425, this money pays for our pool rental, our amazing coaches, and our welcome brunch.

What to Expect

  • The first practice is on Sunday, March 18th at 3pm. We will have some recommended lanes but these can be adjusted depending on how hard you want to push yourself (in either direction).
  • Monday through Friday will be “two-a-days”, with a practice in the morning and a practice in the early evening. You’ll have time to grab a long lunch and check-out the beach, or nap, on most days.
  • Camp always has a selection of different social events, like our team brunch, a night out at Rosie’s Bar & Grill, and other gatherings.
  • Looking to add more speed to your killer backstroke? Or maybe you want to finally learn how to swim butterfly the right way? We’ll have a clinic for you
